First time here, and it was incredible! Chef Pete is the absolute best. He takes such amazing care of his guests, and the omakase was outstanding—the presentation was beautiful. Thank you so much! I can't recommend this place enough.

We had over ten Omakase in NY, twenty in Japan and China. The food here is the worst among all we experienced. Our expectations are high, but this one is a little bit off. The rice had too much water when cooking, makes it soggy. The lean tuna has tendon, hard to chew. Quality of fish is very bad. With this price in New York, you can get sea urchins. Given the price, I’m disappointed.
The food at Sushi by Bou was good, but the service left us feeling really disappointed, especially given the price point and the occasion. My wife and I came here hoping for a romantic night out and paid around $300 for the 17-course experience, but by the end of the meal we felt rushed, overlooked, and disrespected.
