This woman though empathetic is NOT a physiatrist. She was a hospitalist at TMC who then moved to internal medicine at TMCone. I was w her for close to a year. I have a spinal cord injury. She had no experience treating issues associated with paraplegia. Her answer to my complex issues was to refer me to Mayo , “I don’t know what to do with you”, rather than looking at community resources, especially those physicians she’d worked w at TMC and community.
