Dr. Hopkins is truly wonderful. So happy I found her! She has a very down-to-earth, common-sense approach that immediately puts you at ease. She’s knowledgeable, and genuinely listens to everything you have to say. I always feel comfortable, heard, and confident in her care. Her assistant is awesome, and the front desk staff is just as great. They are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I’m so grateful to have found such an amazing ob-gyn. Definitely recommend trusting her with your care.
She started out kind and like she was listening but it quickly changed to her speaking of matters in her personal life and saying negative comments about men. It made me feel uncomfortable and I didn't even get to discuss everything I needed to because my time was up. Then, she recommended a surgical procedure for something that didn't address one of the two important items I came in for (which again I couldn't even finish asking about). I will not be going back.
I am posting anonymously. I had Dr. Hopkins for routine gyno appointments. She asked the standard questions they do about sex, birth control, etc. when the question of “do you have any children” came up, I said no. She asked why I didn’t have children and I said, it’s because I don’t want any. She then said “well it’s because you haven’t found the right man” . I honestly had the best experience with Dr Hopkins with every visit. She’s the type of Dr that will sit directly in front of you, give her full attention and go through all your questions with you. I think when I was around 13 weeks pregnant I was at work and started bleeding, I had an appointment the very next day and she showed me my babies heartbeat, I started sobbing and she hugged me until I stopped. Very friendly always genuinely cares about her patients health goes above and beyond for her patients and is very kind . She always makes me feel comfortable and answers all my questions makes sure if I have any concerns before my appt is over that she addresses them her nurse Misty is amazing also
