Dr. Garwood saved my husband's life! After several months of deteriorating health & increasing infections, we were blessed to be referred to her as a last resort. She embodies what a physician and healer should be. We understand she has parted from the Frye Medical Group, and are saddened by it. I have had many doctors and specialists in my life as I have a chronic medical condition and my experience with Dr. Sue Garwood was awful. She was rude, impolite, and condescending. She rushed our conversations and interrupted me multiple times. She was impatient and unwilling to listen. She was inexperienced in my diagnosis and I feel that her lack of knowledge played a role in how she treated me. Dr. Garwood is an amazing doctor. She is thorough, kind, compassionate and caring. Because of her expertise I've never left her office or ended a phone consultation without feeling uplifted. It was a blessing to me when I went under her care.
Dr Garwood is not a five . I would say she is more like a ten doctor and caring human being. I am not a patient of Dr Garwood but with God’s blessing and the guidance of the Buddha she was the responding doctor when I had an emergency on a Sunday during a holiday weekend. My personal physician never responded (4 opportunities to do so) but Dr Garwood responded although it wasn’t her specialty and followed up with me. She’s a gem of a human being.
I work at Frye Hospital and quite frequently deal with Dr Garwood and her patients. The best way I can describe her is: If I was sick I would want HER as my Doctor!! She goes above & beyond to find out what is wrong if she doesn’t know the answer!
