She actively listens to what the patient says. She answers all questions. She is very thorough. I recommend her highly: I have been her patient many years. Only shortcoming, she does not automatically fax reports, labs, etc to my other doctors actively treating me.
Dr. Rodell was my parents' physician. Whenever they were at her office, she spent extra time in reviewing her examination of them with them and with me to make sure everything was understood. Even after they went into hospice care, she was willing to discuss their care with me which allowed me to understand what hospice care was providing them. She was a terrific physician for my parents.
I will provide 1 star as Alicia who scheduled my appointment was very kind and professional. Dr. Rodell was rude, snarky and beyond unprofessional. She also has three (3) dogs running around that were cute and friendly (if you like dogs licking you), but they all needed to be bathed. I have been to many doctors' (10+) offices over the last 5 years, and Dr. Susan Rodell by far was the most unprofessional doctor I have met with.
11/8/22 Decided to update. I like Dr Rodell I think she cares and takes time with her patients but there are a few things that are deal breakers. Its impossible to get ahold of anyone to schedule an appointment if you need something ASAP. Very low tech. All old school way of doing things (probably seems nice for the older patients) but I'm used to checking labs online, having a patient portal, getting email and text appointment confirmations. Dr. Rodell and her staff especially Nurse Dayna are so kind and make me feel so welcome in her very homey office. I trust her with my life and so does my family ^__^
