Chances are if you have POTs and Dysautonomia, you already know about Dr. Polizzi and I'm here to confirm- Dr. Polizzi is amazing! She is very personable, incredibly knowledgable and genuinely helpful about all aspects of navigating being disabled by dysautonomia and other relevant conditions (ME/CFS, Long Covid, etc). Dr Polizzi is a wonderful cardiologist and I'm so glad I got to see her, as a lot of cardiologists (at least male ones) tend to be jerks. She was completely thorough, spoke at length with me about my concerns and an action plan, and even caught something on my scans that the previous cardiologist didnt, something that is uncommon for my age with the heart walls, so I'm glad she saw that so I could monitor it.
