I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Dr. Susan Lamonica’s office. I moved my December 8 appointment to October 27 at 8 a.m. because an earlier opening became available and prioritizing my mental health was important to me. I rearranged schedules and made every effort to attend. I was referred to Susan by my doctor in hopes of getting my mental health under control. It's been a journey, but Susan has been amazing to work with. I always feel like I'm being talked to as a person and not just as a patient. What I'm saying is actually being heard. I can tell she's trying and that she cares, and that's really all I ask. Couldn't be more thankful for her time and hard work. Thank you.

Staff mishandled a urine test I provided and then blamed me for it coming up inconclusive, staff was rude and did not take my concerns seriously. I was taken off medications that worked and instead was put on medication that did not work. I felt like I had no voice when it came to making decisions for my own mental health.
I had such a bad experience with my previous psychiatrist. I feel actually heard with her. I was nervous like no other but by the end I was actually very happy and plan on going back for regular treatment.
