I waited 2 months to get an appointment. I live in Hilo (about an 1 1/2 hr drive) so I requested 1/2 day off. Two weeks prior to my appointment her office calls and says they have to reschedule my appointment. I was frustrated yet understanding - scheduling mistakes do happen and I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I wish I hadnt and had just cancelled my appointment and asked my primary care practitioner to refer me to someone else! I agree to a different appointment date. The doctor wrote down the wrong prescription, two weeks later I received glasses with one lense 4 times thicker than the other. Twice I drove from ocean view to kona to have my eyes reexamed, but both times they had to cancel after I drove the 55 miles there. I no longer have the time or patience to deal with the man is their optical shop.....go else where if you want a good doctor, and your glasses on time and hassle free!
