This therapist may be spectacular but the phone number provided all over the website directs you to a lady who fields all of her calls very pleasantly despite the fact that she has nothing to do with therapy of any kind? You also get this number when you ask for it through insurance directory....
Only used twice, very disappointed. Was 20 minutes late to first appointment, which is online so not sure how keeping track of time is hard. Then cut appointment short, but charged my insurance for the full time. Late again to second appointment, which I ended. She then charged me AND my insurance as a no show. I have advised my insurance, apparently a patients time is not important to her.
I’m going to have to disagree with a previous review. Review stated that the doctor is not too much concerned about insurance and would work with you however when I try to make a new patient appointment and they ask when insurance I had, I was told that she does not take my insurance and that the cash price would be $150 per session. Dr Ellis is not concerned with insurance. She and her secretary assured me that she accepts what my medical insurance pays which believe me is a pathetic amount. Dr Ellis has a lot of experience with family and couples therapy and has helped me greatly to make more progress in my personal relationships and behavior. She is genuine, concerned, kind and extremely professional.
