RecommendedI sought out Dr. Downey after failed breast reconstruction following mastectomy and radiation for breast cancer. I had already experienced such a serious infection and lack of healing that my implant had to be removed. Other surgeons told me there was nothing they could do, and any additional reconstruction efforts would be unsuccessful. Best plastic surgeon I ever had. Love her! She was recommended to me by my oncologist, and I could not be happier with her. She is so caring, and is willing to spend as much time as needed to put your mind at ease. I am taking her home with me, if she will let me. - lol
