AVOID!!!! I’d give negative stars if I could. I went in for a cut on March 28, as I wanted just a simple trim before going on my honeymoon to sort of clean up my hair and feel sexy before going. I was given Melissa as my stylist. I looked at her IG before and thought “okay, not too bad at all” even though she didn’t really have many recent images. I had my first haircut with Tristy and went in, thinking I wanted to go really short. When I mentioned it, she honestly said, “I don’t think I like that for you,” which caught me off guard, but I decided to trust her judgment. I’m so glad I did! She gave me a style that suited me perfectly. My hair looked so healthy, full of movement, and easy to manage. I’ve been going to Susan Alan Salon since the beginning of 2026 and I can’t say enough good things. I’m a loyal client of Jovan who did my honey blonde balayage and layered trim, and I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair ever since. I’ve even noticed an increase in my bookings as an actor since getting my hair done with her, she really knows how to make hair look great for the camera. If you want to know how good Gina is, just know that I live in Arizona and make the trip to California specifically for her at Susan Alan Salon. She is worth every mile. Her skills are unmatched, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. I always leave the salon feeling amazing and confident. The salon itself has a great atmosphere with wonderful stylists. Highly recommend booking an appointment.
