I visited this area at sunrise to take some pictures of the sky colors with the cactus'. This was my first visit to Saguaro so I had no idea if it was a good location or not. Turns out it was pretty good, there were tons of saguaros of different shapes and sizes and I got some great pictures on my Canon camera! In this area there is also a vault toilet, and a dozen picnic tables scattered around. Good picnic area with tables, restrooms, and barbecue grills. Very peaceful and not crowded. The view overlooking Saguaro National Park West is a big plus. Bring water and sun protection.
Beautiful spot to enjoy nature and have a picnic.
