I have been taking classes here for about 3 months now. I started off with the free session then BOGO classes and then I finally signed up for a 3 month membership and I absolutely love it! The instructors are very knowledgeable and take the time to make you feel comfortable + really expain each exercise and its benefits. Wether you take reformer clases with Jen, SOS classes with Kaye or try a HIIT class with Susan just know they ALL know to make you sweat and get you moving! Surviving Strong isn’t just a Pilates place. It’s the people that make this place so special and has really encouraged me on my health journey! Easing my way back into group fitness after my cancer diagnosis and treatment has been so much more encouraging with the commitment and personal touch of all of the staff, Susan, Jennifer, Kaye, and especially Shannon who has provided such an attentive and intentional experience I truly appreciate! Very very grateful!
I was referred to surviving strong and was looking into their programs to help find relief for my back pain. They have a program called “Posture Reframed” where they take all sorts of measurements of your posture and then discuss areas of pain. After being measured I was given exercises that were personalized and tailored to my exact needs. Susan was incredibly helpful and so far after a few weeks of doing my exercises, my back is getting better!
I joined a month ago and have enjoyed sampling different classes, each designed to build strength, mobility and balance. The staff is super friendly, helpful and encouraging. Fellow members are also welcoming and helpful.
This is THE place to go: - to be challenged - to have fun - to exceed your own expectations - to be encouraged - to celebrate the accomplishments of others - to be celebrated for your accomplishments - TO BE YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF Oh… and the classes are pretty spectacular too. Wide variety of options. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful. Always willing to help you modify to fit your needs and limits… and equally as willing to push you a bit outside of your comfort zone. It’s a fitness community.
