If I could give them a negative 100 I would. Horrible insurance company. They canceled my insurance just because I had 1 claim- a water claim, and never even used it. There ended up being no wanted damage in basement from leaking dishwasher upstairs in kitchen. The broker called me at last minute and said they canceled me. He called them back to explain I never used it and they reinstated me. Then he tells me that they canceled my auto insurance cause I had one speeding ticket. I worked with Derricka on my claim and she was fantastic. The day after my wreck, they already had my settlement amount ready for me. Derricka was always there to answer any questions I had. This place truly goes above and beyond. Thank you for taking a bad situation and making it easier on us with your kindness. They genuinely care about their clients! SurSafe Mutual is a great company to work with. As an insurance agent I take pride in connecting with companies that stand behind their products. I will not do business with a company that I wouldn't feel comfortable putting my own insurance with, and I can assure you I wouldn't lose any sleep with my home and auto being writeen through SurSafe Mutual.
I have been a customer for 13 years and never filed a claim until my roof was damaged by a tornado. Unfortunately, my experience with this company has been extremely disappointing. Their estimate came in far below my contractor’s. They refused to cover basic protections such as ice and water shield, explaining that because my roof was built 15 years ago, these materials count as a “code upgrade” not included in coverage.
