We had our daughter's wedding here five years ago. It was perfect for us, for our budget and our time constraints. So much so, that her in-laws also used it for the rehearsal dinner. Everything was lovely. When it was time to plan our 25th anniversary celebration my hubby insisted that we use them again. And I have to tell you he's pretty picky. As expected, it was fantastic. I had a wedding there on April 12 of this year and everything was amazing. We decorated, the catering was great and my cake was beautiful, just like the picture. They worked with our budget so that was great. Totally recommend this place for any event that you have.
On August 3rd 2013, I was fortunate enough to marry the most amazing woman in the world. As expected, The Surrey House accomplished everything possible to ensure that beautiful moment would last forever. The building is absolutely beautiful and immaculate. Beautiful Place, Friendly People, Great Price – My daughter will be getting married at the Surrey House in August. This will be our third wedding there in ten years. To be honest, we really appreciate the Surrey house people because they are so reasonable and we are on a tight budget. Horrible Venue – Do Not Use This Venue! I had paid for the surrey house and gardens for the full day, so there would be no scheduling issues, and I could show up early to decorate and have another walk through with the minister and wedding party. However a of couple hours before my wedding the lady came over and told me that her friends daughter was getting married the next day and she had already told them that they could have rehearsals at the surrey house anyway. Beautiful Victorian House and Excellant Service – I was really impressed with The Surrey House and Gardens. I had my reception here about three years ago. They had a large selection of quality delicious food choices and helpful servers. I was surprised by how clean and well kept the facility was and how they took care of so many things I forgot to ask about. The House is over 100 years old is a very quaint beautiful place with two good sized ballrooms for entertaining. I definetly recommend it.
