We stayed in the lower unit. It was clean, comfortable and well furnished. There is an a/c unit in each room which was the best feature. Unfortunately, the unit in our room sounded like a truck idling next to our bed, and that was on low. The top hinge on our bedroom door was also broken making the door hard to open and close. The worst part was that the exterior was being renovated and the back yard was full of debris making it unusable. We found out about this the day we arrived. The Surrey Beach House is a beautiful place, especially with all the artwork. The air conditioning worked well, and we loved the quiet ceiling fan above the bed. The TV worked perfectly, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. There were plenty of towels, but we weren’t sure where to get extras if needed. This hotel was the perfect spot for my son and I while he was at a day camp in NJ. The location was steps from the beach, and the kitchen/dining space was an added bonus!
awesome location, location, location. 1 house in from beach. The king size bed room was extremely clean and nice, and one of the most comfortable beds anywhere. Great night's sleep. Beach chairs were in excellent condition. And the parking on street was very easy. Just bring your own beach towel and umbrella.
It was a lovely little Inn. The rooms were very nice and the beds super comfortable. It is steps from the beach and just a nice place to go.
