I picked up my government surplus auction winnings there. The process was professional and efficient.
Very friendly staff. There is a cash and carry section, where you can select items and buy them right away. Then there is the timed auction section, where you can bid online, after opening an account. Add 5% GST to your bid amount, but no additional buyer's fee, which in some cases nears 20%, in non-government auctions. Caution with electric / electronic items, like appliances. Tried to buy a truck from surplus auctions, no emails to let you know your bid was excepted no emails to let you know if you were successful or not. Auction closes with your bid as the highest and then the next day a mysterious person at the last second bid 4 grand more than you. Same thing happened to my brother last week .Zero transparency the won’t even call you back to explain what happened.would not recommend using this service.
