In June of 2023 I chose Suriano Homes to build my dream home in the community of Waterbridge, Carolina Forest. I interviewed Tom Suriano the owner and had a very constructive conversation explaining what I wanted. It took 3 zoom calls with Lorelle and an initial design was done. Based on this design, I was quoted what I believe was a fair price. Construction was commenced in August of 2023 and was completed in June 0f 2024. This time period seemed quite reasonable. Suriano Homes built our dream home! Lorelle and Tom were personable, easy to work with and very receptive to changes/modifications. All issues brought to their attention were rectified. It was a pleasure to work with them.
This is a builder in decline but has hit rock bottom. It's been 3 years since we started building and we still have incomplete Items with warranty items being ignored. Unvetted workers were brought into our house, left unsupervised and stole thousands of dollars’ worth of Jewelry. The builder made design chages with no signoff. Construction time exceeded the Suriano Homes contract by 365 days, increasing our interest rate by 2.5%. Beautiful homes. Quality craftsmanship. Excellent attention to detail and a pleasure to work with.
14 months after closing on our “luxury custom” house, we are still waiting for our punch list to be completed. After countless excuses and last minute cancellations, we are losing faith that Tom intends to honor the contract and compete the punch list. Our 1 year warranty punch list was also met with immediate resistance.
