I recently had both of my cataract surgeries at SurgiSite Boston in Waltham, MA, and each experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I was met with a warm and friendly greeting by Judy, the receptionist, setting the tone for what turned out to be exceptional experiences both times. I had the great fortune to have cataract surgery at Surgisite Boston in Waltham. For what most people, I'm sure, is a scary idea having a cataract removed and artificial lens inserted, the doctors and staff at Surgisite do everything they can to relieve your stress and make the situation as pleasant as possible. The receptionist was rude and presumptuous, as she is not a physician or nurse. I was to have cateract eye surgery today, until she told me after I had checkrd in that I would not be put under sedation because I would later be taking an Uber home. I objected but to no avail. I had had eye surgery with sedation and i had no problem using Uber somewhere else, but the receptionist knew that she couldnt be wrong.
