I went there on Friday 8/29/25 for a lower back surgery, I arrive at 5:30 AM with my husband the receptionist was ok the only thing was she talked kind loud and other patients and their family members can hear the conversation, once I was taken to the back my husband was not allowed to be there with me the first nurse was nice the second nurse who I believe the name was Lisa was not very nice from the moment she took over she offered me to take 7 pills I ask her why she told me it was for by belly, for pain , and stomach gas... read more
My mother had surgery there last week and was treated horribly by the nurses. Immediately after waking up from surgery the woman performing her post operative care, gave her pain medication that made her sick, then threw her clothes at her and told her to “get up and get dressed”, did not take the compression cuffs off of her legs so she could get her pants on, left her there, my mom had to call for help to get anyone to assist her.
So, I had a hip replacement surgery at SIA today. Even though the surgeon was not directly affiliated with SIA, his team worked WITH SIA staff to perform the surgery. I JUST want to say the medical staff at SIA is 2nd to none in such an outpatient setting. Everyone was so focused on my comfort and making sure I understood every step of the operation.
I had a great experience from the front desk staff to the nursing staff, to the surgeon and anesthesiologist. I had a neck epidural/ steroid injection. It was quick, efficient, and such a smooth experience. Thank you Dr. Lansden and Katelyn, RN!
