I was super nervous and about getting my first surgery and before and the doctors were like is there anything we can do.. I noticed music playing and I politely asked can you please throw on some frank ocean, one doctor without hesitation “ ALEXA PLAY FRANK OCEAN” and man when pink+whites strings come in at the opening of the song I was ok. My care yesterday was amazing. Everyone from the front office to the nurse who wheeled me out were top notch. I don’t remember all the names but there was Yesenia, Kellie, Danielle, the anesthesiologists, the nice lady who was in the OR and Dr. Esparza. The professionalism and conversations were calming and relaxing. Thank you!!!!
I had my tonsillectomy on the 21st of May. Up until this point I feel that I’ve been having some complications. I finally got a call back from the office after waiting quite a while and was met with a really rude lady who kept cutting me off as I was trying to explain my symptoms. She asked me if I had called my surgeons office (I figured this was that number because it is in fact the surgery center). Had my first procedure done here today and let me tell you, it was an amazing experience, Kelly (RN) in Pre-op, I was so nervous about the IV and she got it on the first try, she was just simply amazing, she even checked up on me after my procedure. Sheila, PJ, and Dr. Eng were amazing in the procedure room and just talked to me the whole time, Dr. Eng was very nice and gentle.
