My experience with Joseph Garde was a nightmare. I am very lucky to still be alive today. I was a patient of Garde's back in 1997-1998. He thinks if a mammogram does not indicate breast cancer, then you can't possibly have it! I have since learned the error rate on mammography can be as high as 30% for premenopausal women. He dismissed my concerns stating, "If you're worried about breast lumps, I could always cut out your ovaries."
