I went to Boca Regional Emergency Room with excruciating pain in my upper abdomen on the left side. I was so lucky that Dr. Avraham Belizon was the surgeon who was there that day. He ordered several tests to assure the diagnosis and then performed laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. He has hands of gold! From the initial consultation to post-operative follow-up, Dr. Belizon and his team were outstanding. He thoroughly explained the procedure, addressed my concerns, and ensured I felt comfortable and informed. Dr. Belizon's attention to detail and dedication to patient care were remarkable. He provided excellent follow-up care, regularly checking on my progress.
One of the kindest and most professional surgeons I've ever used. He listens and answers all questions, spent time in the pre-op area to answer even MORE questions and concerns, called my caretaker personally after the surgery, and called me personally the next day. Office handles incoming calls well. Wouldn't use any other surgeon for his specialties (I had gallbladder removed).
I was referred to Dr. Avraham Belizon for a hernia repair by a friend and I'm very glad he made the recommendation. After one week following the surgery, I am almost totally back to my daily routine. Dr. Avraham Belizon is a caring surgeon with a great staff, and I enthusiastically recommend him to anyone who needs the services he offers.
