Good to stay but kinda worn down
We recently visited for a family vacation and stayed at one of the 9th floor condos here. Overall it was a good experience. We rented through VRBO and our communication with the homeowner was great. The beachfront location made visiting the beach throughout the day really easy and convenient! We also used the pool at times, which was nice for the kids. ☆☆☆☆ – Absolutely Would Not Recommend We paid nearly $2,800 for a Monday-Saturday stay at Surfside Shores in Gulf Shores, booked through Southern Vacation Rentals, and it turned into one of the most disappointing vacation experiences we’ve ever had. Just 53 minutes before check-in, we were informed that the master bedroom and bathroom had flooded. Larry the groundskeeper supports reckless behavior in the community pool, and won't address theft from the area that is meant for patrons to leave their beach chairs, intertubes, etc for their stay. Not cool. Otherwise a beautiful location and condo.
