Unit #118. This is a cigarette smoker’s paradise. The unit must have been owned by a heavy cigarette smoker for many years. The smoke smell was so bad we all got headaches during our stay. Our clothes, pillows, towels, restroom supplies, shoes and everything we brought into the unit smelt like cigarettes when we got home. Had to throw many items away. This is an amazing location for the price! The beach is literally a few hundred feet away. If we weren’t utilizing the pool then we were at the beach. This will be our new yearly beach location. My best advice would be to make sure you browse the condos on their website and pick the one that looks the most recently updated/or furnished because this is a bit of an older establishment. Look at beds, couches, flooring.. and then pick from there based on what you are looking for.
We booked this condo specifically because the listing said it was pet-friendly. But when I called to pay the pet deposit, I was told pets weren’t allowed after all. This was extremely disappointing, especially since that was the only reason we chose this property. Management didn’t try to resolve the issue. Instead, they offered to move us to a larger unit that allowed pets — but only if we paid an extra $330. We couldn’t afford that, so we had to leave our pet behind. Parking is another issue.
