It was a very bad experience and we ended up selling our Canal Lofts condo after 2 years. Delay after delay, and then we moved in when hardly anything was completed. Very poor construction, poor communication, and many broken promises. Stay away from Surface!
This company is terrible to deal with. Completely ripped me off. Go find someone who cares about their customers.
I cannot stress enough how strongly I would advise against working with this developer. They sell you the dream, but buyers beware.
Great to work with initially when going through the building process. They’re very responsive and seem to try to incorporate any changes for your unit. The 2 star rating is for the poor quality of materials used, cutting lots of corners and their unresponsiveness once they hand over the unit to you if you have further questions or concerns. There are probably better builders in the city.
