I had a very disappointing experience with Surface Creations recently. Their install team chipped my quartz countertop while installing a backsplash—which was incorrectly installed in the first place. At that point, my only options were to replace the entire countertop or have the chip repaired. Given the hassle of disconnecting and reconnecting the sink, I reluctantly went with the repair.
