Do NOT trust this realtor. The (very expensive) house was dilapidated and had many repair issues. I've included a couple photos, but in addition, the front door did not lock, the outdoor shower was in extreme disrepair and unusable, three toilets ran constantly and needed new valves, and the decks are so weathered it's dangerous to your feet to walk on them. Surf and Sound was a great company to work with. We stayed at A Sea Jewel and the place was great. It was an easy walk to the beach. Avon, NC was a great area for us as it’s a lot quieter but still has Enough restaurants and pubs.
We had an amazing week in OBX, no issues at all but was answered immediately if I had any questions.
Our stay at Grand Banks through Surf or Sound was wonderful! Highly recommend them. I love that Leslie checked in on us via text throughout our stay and truly made sure our stay was the best it could be. We will use this rental company again!
Second year of renting from Surf or Sound. Nice selection of properties to fit changing needs based on location and amenities. The property I rented for 2 weeks was great. Exactly as described and depicted in the photos. Upon checkout, I had texted them with a couple of minor questions and they got right back to me. I liked the personal touch. Already pre-reserved 2027.
