At closing, we told Char about how we had to pay to fix our banks mistake, and she got worked up and told us that we needed to demand they fix it. It was only a $67 mistake. But now, 6 months after closing, we have to pay $800 to fix her mistake with our taxes because she sent a check for the wrong amount and instead of fixing it she waited for the check to expire and then called us, and then decided to not return phone calls and told off the tax collector when they demanded that she fix it. $800 is a very expensive mistake ... read more

Char was rude. It’s is weeks after our closing, and I am still chasing down checks. Furthermore, she threatened me by saying that they ”own other businesses “ and that they would be willing to “help me out” if I did not leave a review. As soon as I told her, it was unacceptable that a check was laying on her desk that long, she told me that she did not need to hear that from me instead of taking responsibility.

After several weeks, Charlene has finally gotten back in touch with me to correct my deed with the proper house sale amount. She stated that she was dialing an incorrect number these past few weeks. Thanks for correcting.

It's a shame that my experience with Charlene ended so poorly. While my closing seemed to go well, a week later when I received a copy of my deed there was a $4,500+ price difference than the cotracted price. Even though I've made several attempts to contact Charlene to have this mistake corrected, she has never called me back to acknowledge the mistake or let me know of her plans to correct.
