Absolutely Horrible Experience – Avoid This Place at All Costs If I could give zero stars, I would. This hotel was a complete nightmare from the moment we checked in. First off, there was a roach in our room — disgusting. The hot tub jets were broken, so forget about relaxing. Even though we booked a non-smoking room, it reeked of cigarette smoke, like they hadn’t cleaned it in years. This property is in rough shape, but I do acknowledge they are working on improvements. The rack rate was great but the online reviews were not very accurate. Room furniture is in bad shape...for example desk chair had been chewed on by a dog, another chair stained, bathroom was dingy. Room was clean, bed comfortable, HVAC worked good, water pressure weak and hot water was OK. Instructed the front desk I would not need housekeeping and he said he would annotate it. Super great price for the quality of the room. Room has everything microwave, fridge, coffee pot, iron and blow dryer. The pool is fabulous the is also a Jacuzzi on the side. They offer a breakfast with more than cereal and bread. I will definitely stay again when I visit Houston again. The only downfall is the building is 3 stories and there isn't an elevator but aside from that great price and great rooms
