We booked duct cleaning and the tech asked if we wanted to add dryer vent cleaning for $85. I said yes without thinking. He pulled out a clog of lint the size of a watermelon. He said we were at high risk for a fire. Our dryer used to take 2 cycles to dry towels. Now it takes one. The laundry room isn’t humid anymore. I tell everyone: if you do your ducts, add the dryer vent. It’s the cheapest safety upgrade you can buy.
