A friend and I stopped here for lunch, we had the following: Pani puri Dahi puri Paav bhaji Khandvi Chai All this for $17. Everything tasted heavenly. The chaat here reminded me of the good old days in Bombay. I tried out Khandvi for the first time ever and I personally feel that the taste has to grow on you or something..but it wasnt that bad. We also had a take home order of some sweets- Mango burfi and Jilebi. I sneaked out a few pieces of the burfi before we got home.. it tasted awesome! A must try place for chaats! I wi... read more
A lot of variety of indian snacks and sweets. Parking is a pain sometimes.
Had been a few times to the same place which is also in San Diego but hadnt been there since I left. However I recently found out that it was in Artesia as well and we decided to head out there. And man, is it still great! Its a fast food kind of Indian takeout with a bit of seating area as well though it tends to get crowded on the weekends. Prices are extremely reasonable with most items below the $6 range. I had Pani puri and taste reminded of my good old days in India, also tried Delhi chaat which was kind of sweet(too m... read more
Terrible service – What used to be good food and tasty snacks has now turned into cold meals and horrible service. After getting the thali, my mom literally had to wring her chapatis because they were so drenched in ghee (can we say clogged arteries??). Not only that, the daal was cold as well. The chaat was just ok and my masala chai had that reminiscence of boiled milk taste (gag). We should have learned our lesson after that ... read more
Awesome Gujju food, chaat place Very small seating area, not much in way of ambience, but the chaat is oh god so good, highly recommended, good place for getting farsan like chivda, puris etc.
Like Mecca to the Jews! OMGGG The greatest place to get FABULOUS indian food around Los Angeles. I LOVE IT! My favorite:: Kusta Kachoris. Also on the list are mango lassis and baadshas.
Great chat place Very good chat place. This is the best chat place, I have been to in US. The have a long menu. Also the savories and sweets are pretty good. All items are fresh. They can also mail order.
How Sweet it Is! One of my favorite places in "Little India"! The sweets and snacks here are fresh and go well with a cup of chai - The authentic stuff and not that dishwater they sell you at Starbucks for an arm and a leg!
