Dr. Alva performed a sigmoid colectomy on me back in November 2022. He was patient and informative every step of the way. He and his associates were courteous and caring. During the prep for surgery he personally went out to the waiting room to bring my wife to see me. Post-surgery and throughout my healing process I would call his office with questions, and I always received a call back from him, not a member of his staff. I was in his office little over month ago rushed out the office by him i was told i need surgery never discussed the details and was told his office will be in touch to shucdle the surgery they never called and i had to call and never returned my calls or scheduled any surgery this Dr..and his staff likes chicken running with no heads never want to see them ever again
I was "treated" by Dr. Alva in February. I was rushed in, rushed out, and none of my phone calls were returned. I have never left a poor review in my life, but in my opinion "Dr." Alva is only interested in charging people money for a misdiagnosis and getting them out the door as quickly as possible to rip off the next patient. I called his office 3 times two days after my initial appointment complaining of pain and discomfort. No one called me back. Now charging $200. For what? HORRIBLE CARE
The staff gossips while patients are waiting in the lobby. My refferal was never submitted for overlook hospital, ended up recieving dozens of bills and when I called in I would always be assured that someone would call me back, I received a call finally weeks later by the office admin who assured me it was my fault and refused to look into the matter. Horrible service dr was okay but barely spends time with patient 5 minutes in and out, got the impression he doesnt value patients. look elsewher
