Not only was the staff knowledgeable, they made it easy to get into the higher end of the hobby. Weighing pros and cons of the major brands and models, I was able to make the most informed decision on my purchase. The very same day, I crashed my new Traxxas Maxx and brought it in to see what parts it needed. They took the time to explain what all was broken, what was needed for repair, and all the parts I needed to get back up and running. An easy 5 stars for Superstition Hobbies. You absolutely cannot go wrong working with these guys! This store is amazing — it has everything you could possibly need for RC vehicles. I walked in and was greeted by Sam, who took the time to help me set up my transmitter and made sure it worked perfectly with my F22 jet. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Lots of friendly staff and a rock crawler course! I took my kids in to show them what the RC world has to offer. The staff patiently answered there questions. I also took them to the RC course and they had a blast for hours.
I would like to publicly acknowledge how great the people are at Superstition Hobbies, specifically Mike the owner. In August I took my 87 yr old father in there as he was an avid plane and train hobbyist since a kid and wanted an electric plane and we bought one, spent well over $400. My dad suffers from dementia and it progressed rapidly this past year and he never even remembered purchasing this plane. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I had to place my dad in hospice care. Purchased 2 items online, 1 of which I was needing and nobody had in-stock. The other I ordered just to save on shipping from another retailer. 2 business days later, items are shipped. Next day get a notice the part that I needed was refunded with no explanation. Recieved the one item I ordered in 5 business days. Really wish I would have received a call or email stating one of the items was not in stock, contrary to what the site listed when ordering.
