If I could give no stars, i would. I am unsure if its superior plus propane or kamps propane but either way every interaction I have had has been hostile & rude. I called to pay my bill & had to ask some questions about my bills and the lady spoke to me like I was dumb. I still have no idea where these extra charges are coming from but it is very frustrating. I even had an employee come out to fill my tank & even he did not have anything nice to say which says a lot. Will definitely be looking for someone different next time... read more
Zero stars actually. Stick with Eastern Propane. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review in fact I think of all of the various customer service experiences I’ve had over the years, this is the first time I’ve left one.
If I could give these greedy bean counters -5 stars I would ! Service is terrible, last winter I almost ran out of propane on a Sat night in Feb. I went to make a call I got a recording that they appreciated our business so much that they had closed their walk in offices and I was then put on hold for an hour due to "heavy call volume" (translation...we are too cheap to staff adequately) but while your on hold a recording has a "feel good" story about how their donating to some "good cause" like that's supposed to cheer me u... read more
This company has non-existant customer service. For years they have charged me an UNDER-usage fee. I've tried multiple times to call them, I've been on hold for HOURS, and the call-back option doesn't work. Do NOT buy ANYTHING from this company!
They don't even deserve 1 star but I could leave this without clicking on a star. I was a customer of Downeast for over 20 years but the past two years they have been terrible with their pricing, unreachable, and add on fees. I no longer will do business with them.
