AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST. I am a Senior Citizen, and recently had a plumbing issue. Found and called a company called “Superior Plumbing and heating" which seems to be all over Ontario. They cancelled the first appointment which was on a Friday, but someone came in on Saturday. Very polite individual from Afganistan, pleasant, and advised he was a civil engineer. We got along well. Absolute scammers, avoid at all costs. First of all, I specifically asked if their rate is higher during the weekend and was told no, it is the same throughout the week. Second, they stated they do not have an hourly rate, the cost is per job, and will be given an estimate when the plumber arrives and sees what needs to be done. What needed to be done was a 40-60 minutes work involving replacing the hot water pipe connecting the hot water tank to the plastic tubing hanging off the ceiling about 50 cm above the hot water tank... read more

Shady business. I called to come verify my water heater and they said the fee is $150 with tax but is reimbursed if I take my business with them. I proceeded to ask how much their water heaters are and they told me on the phone that they can’t say on hand the estimate will be given after the consultation. Consultation took 5 min, recommendation was to change the water heater and they don’t have anything under $3300. Had the price been communicated prior, I wouldn’t have taken the consultation. After booking appointments with them, they cancelled two days in a row leaving my family with no hot water. No apologies or discount where never offer. Leaves to think why they call themselves Superior. My advice stay away from this company. They do not care about their costumes.
