I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Superior Dental Care. My dentist initially recommended a conservative, less expensive treatment to prevent further damage to my tooth. Superior Dental Care denied coverage for that procedure. Because of that denial, my condition worsened and my tooth ultimately fractured—requiring a much more expensive treatment. They do not cover ALOT of stuff. You are required to pay out of pocket and they reimburse. There have been times I just never got my check. Other times where I would get hardly anything back. I switched to my husbands dental insurance and everything was free today for a bi-annual cleaning and I seriously almost cried. This dental insurance is horrible and I do not advise using it if you can use elsewhere.

Worst dental insurance ever. Never pays what the dentist says they will and you get more bills afterwards. this has happened with 2 different dentists so i know its not a dentist thing. They also cover very little.

I was honestly skeptical because this is my first time ever having dental insurance, and Superior Dental Care is what my job offers. I recently had to get a chipped tooth repaired, and the dentist originally billed the procedure at around $607. However, because the dentist was in-network, Superior Dental Care only allowed $287 to be charged. Insurance covered part of that, and my total out-of-pocket was $127. I just received a call from my dental office that a procedure I had done wasn't covered. It was completed 4 months ago. My dental office called to confirm my coverage and were told I was covered at that time and now I'm being told that I'm not. I spoke to the representative from Superior Dental and they received the call from the dental office but wouldn't give me details of the call. They declined any responsibility with this situation.
