They don’t pay the drs office what they originally promise to pay. I have two daughters. One got less than 10% of her treatment covered by the insurance. The other one got 0% covered . They had promised to cover 50%. Then i got the invoice from the Drs Office and I had to pay it in full.

I am an insurance coordinator at a periodontal practice. I HAVE to say that SDC is one of the BEST and easiest companies to work with when calling about benefits. Claims are typically paid without issues or delay. I also want to recognize "STEPHANIE" who is a provider services representative. I have to call SDC on a daily basis. She ALWAYS goes above and beyond-noting important details about the plan, how payments are dispersed, and what services pull from the max and deductible. Things take forever to process, which is awful especially in a dental emergency situation. Have a broken tooth and need a root canal? Expect to pay it all up front and hope they cover a little if any of it. I wish my employer would switch to something else.

Keeps telling me that they are coding claims wrong and will fix the problem. They keep telling me that I will receive a call you back and I never receive one. This has been going on for almost a year. I hope one company or even one person reads this and finds a different service.
