Many consumers and staff I have met on the floor agreed people have been conditioned into believing that this franchise is low-cost, when it's actually just a business name. The promotional deals don't reflect the regular pricing you'd find on the store shelves. The brand has successfully created a placebo effect in peoples minds from the beginning that it is a discount-focused business, and this placebo effect is proving difficult to change. If anything, I feel the products are getting more expensive with time.
