Funny, I must shop at a different store to the previous reviewer. The “ageing staff” here dropped everything to help me, actually knew what they were talking about, and had me served in minutes. If that’s bad service, sign me up.

SCA used to be one of my favourite shops, But this store really does leave customer service to the imagination. The ageing staff make you feel like you have to wait for them to stop messing around behind the counter before they’ll serve you, And you should be grateful for that. I ended up putting what I had back on the shelf and leaving. Went to Repco had a completely different experience and worth the trip.
I have to say that both the lady at the front desk and the gentleman who showed me where the graphite was and gave me some tips were friendly and engaged, and it was a seamless and good experience. Also, i had my well-behaved dog and he was made welcome - increasingly I am finding that stores that let me take my dog inside are more likely to get my business because it's just easy to drop in on a trip out and about. He also approved of the section of fragrances on his way out!
