I bought and loved a z1 less then a year ago and the controller of the bike which is built internally into the seat has failed preventing the charger from charging the bike and the throttle from receiving power. A quick google search shows several of the same complaints on ebike forums across the net. I own one of the new S2s. I got it on 7/1 and it stopped turning on 7/6. The customer service refuses to get back to me. I'm left with a useless piece of metal. I heard about all the issues they were having but decided to order anyways. I regret that mistake. Edit: Customer service has since gotten back to me. However, responses are few and far between.
So, my issues haven’t really been with Super73. In fact, Drew, who responded to my customer care email was superb. I had, maybe still have, a problem with the company shipping my bike. It got stuck for an entire week at its 4th stop on its freight route to me. It’s not like it was at its final warehouse before being delivered to me. It was 1400 miles away. Anyway, I’ll update this when my bike is in hand. I just wanted to get it out there that customer care is working to fix things despite popular belief. Liz
