Today at 3:25 pm 1/17/24 I pulled in and slowed to a stop when the owner's hand gestured to me. He asks without a greeting, “What year?” I say 2010, he says “2009?!, I say 2010 and he repeats “2009!” I say no 2010, he yells loudly “BE QUIET!” angrily with frustration as he looks dead into my eyes with earbuds on. Fast, easy, and well priced. Just make sure that you know how to release the hood. He will not help you and is not cool about waiting for you to figure it out.
I've been going here for years, and I've never had anything but prompt, friendly service. Don't let the looks of the location fool you; this is not a high class establishment in terms of amenities while you are waiting, but you're just getting your car smogged. It takes maybe 10 minutes. The last car I had to bring in actually failed it's smog test the first time around. In the middle of the test, my car threw an engine code and thus failed the test. Best price in town! $34 cash $36 card and the owner was kind, friendly and efficient. I was there for about 10min with a short wait for him to finish the person before me. Pull up to the orange cone curb if you have to wait. Will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know.
This is a no-nonsense place he is very efficient and gets the job done quickly and out of more than fair price. I've been going to him for years.
