Absolutely not never again. Been doing business with this farm for over 20 years since they were mid tn turf. Called for 10 pallets of sod and you are not allowed to buy sod from them unless you call from the number on the account and send them a picture of your truck with logos on it. Don't waste your time unless you like supporting big corporations in the agriculture industry. Walkers sod farm is just down the road and I guarantee they will treat you like a human with some respect.
Tall Fescue was what I ordered (3) separate times, first (2) shipments were healthy, top soil on the bottom was nice and dark. The (3rd) looked sick, with a clay soil bottom, laid all (3) deliveries the same way, same watering schedule, with the same starter fertilizer. Obviously the (3rd) delivery is struggling, sickly looking, and I question if it's even the same variety. Delivery was great, as is the (1) star I am giving, other than that, I cannot recommend for consistency and overall health of the sod I received!
Pam Arp in the front office went above and beyond to help me with my product order, signing up for the Lawn Coach program, and making sure available discounts were applied. The farm manager and others were also welcoming and helpful with advice and product recommendations. Go to Manchester Super Sod. They will take care of you and your lawn!
We received 2 pallets of sod today. This sod is dead, yellow, in pieces, chucks fall from it, has trash and green moss in it. I would advise anyone ordering from this company to think twice. I lost 2 pallets of sod plus a $250. delivery plus my landscaper would not even finish his job because of this sod. He said he had never seen such bad sod.
