I purchased 4 pallets of Bermuda thru the recommended landscaper from Super Sod. The grass arrived yellow and had touches of green. I was concerned. Only half was installed the first day. So I got busy watering the grass as SC is so hot and humid. By the next morning it was already turning green and looking good. The next day, late afternoon, the last of the sod was installed. I'll tell you I would have never thought in a million years that this zoysia was going to grow like this in a shady area. I'm blow away at how it has handled this summer. Shady areas 3 dogs worth of traffic 3 kids worth of traffic and it's like a carpet.
I felt terrible walking in right at closing time- on a Friday, but Brittany welcomed me as if I was the first customer of the day. I came asking for help and she did just that. I left with a bag of fertilizer for my existing lawn and came back on Saturday for sod I purchased. She even answered my questions that I had after I left for self instillation.
