This is the cleanest grocery store I’ve seen in Central Louisiana during the COVID-19 situation. The staff is very pleasant and helpful...I even saw the store manager bring a cake and a bag of ice out to a customer’s car for her while I was there. The entire store was well stocked (except for paper products which I blame on the HOARDERS) and it is clear that this Super 1 Foods is very well managed. Great shopping experience in spite of these uncertain times.

I came for large, not-too-expensive containers of blueberries, since they are in season. No luck. Only small, expensive ones. Walking by the deli, I was surprised and delighted to find fried chicken livers--at 8 AM! Not my standard breakfast, but since they were available, I got some. I have to say they were not as good as the ones at the Alexandria Super One. There was no seasoning, and a couple had a bad flavor. That's it. Not my usual store, but since I was in the neighborhood, I tried it and will try it again.
Usually shop here and will probably continue as they are convenient, but their produce leaves a lot to be desired. 3 heads of Romaine lettuce that were not at their best and no Romaine Hearts or small packages of them. I did buy a small seedless watermelon that was not ripe when cut, had to throw it away as I will not drive another 20 miles there and back for a chance at another unripe one-this wasn't the first.
Good customer service plus they had alot of items on sale at good prices. Plan to do alot of grocery shopping there again.
Was very disturbed to have went in today and ordered a vegetable plate for lunch.....as I watched the employee prepare the plate, the quantity of food was saddening to say the least......then on top of that, I was told the amount charged is $6.99 for three small servings of veggies??? Well, thanks, but no thanks!
