El mejor hospital de Brooklyn Ny
Came with a deep gash in the head that needed stitches. Arrived at 10pm ended up leaving at 2am because they didn’t even see us yet. So we sat there waiting all night long for no reason. 2 people came in around 12 and got seen 30mins after they came in. I want to preface this by saying there were only 6 people waiting when we first arrived. Terrible terrible terrible. Never again.
I was at Kings county emergency room last night with a doctor's referral, I waited for three (3) hours and didn't see a doctor, so I decided to go to Downstate emergency room, it was like night and day, within 30 minutes, I was rigistered and saw the nurse, who then told me to wait to see the doctor, about thirty minutes the doctor examined me first, then requested blood work, outstanding service and great staff. Bye bye Kings county never to return, Downstate I will highly recommend.
Negligent and downright disrespectful "caretaking" that endangered my Grandmother's life. Examples include: -Denying the presence of an OPEN bedsore that appeared during the stay. -Forgetting to turn on her oxygen several times and again denying there was a problem although the levels would fall as low as 87%. -Asking weird question such as "is she into fetish" (yes, seriously) ..and the list could go on. My family member had a terrible experience in this hospital and the staff's negligence actually made the problem worse and also caused new ones like and OPEN bed sore. Appart from Nurse Sarah who did a great job, there was a lack of care and transparency from the staff. I know it's a hard job but I expect a doctor earning over 6 figures to put his back into it.
