Steve came out to look at our trombe widow which has had a rather poor repair job at some point. Sadly, it can’t be repaired without tearing out the whole wall of windows, but Steve took the time to research it with Jeld-wen and emailed me back with the information and some suggestions. Most contractors would not have even taken the time to email back. When we need windows I’ll be reaching out to him again. Thank you Steve.
After getting ghosted by Joseph of The Glass Act (who works with Anderson Windows), I researched and found Sunwest Construction Specialties. Johana the manager was extremely helpful. She had Mike out the next day, ordered the replacement Anderson window, crank/handle hardware, and it was installed a month or so later. Price was reasonable for the quality of window and service.
The name is a misnomer they're constructing nothing, they're distributor
Tried to get these people out two years ago to work on Jeld-Wen doors for several of our rental properties. They never called back. Thought I would give them another chance, as we need more work done, and they actually did come out to do an estimate a few weeks ago. Never heard back regarding the estimate or scheduling. I had to reach out to them a few times, just to find out that they don’t want the job. This company is a joke!
