After having a total loss on my car, which I had gap on, Truist proceeded to charge me interest after the total loss up to the 45 days after the total loss of the car for the record it’s in the writing in their paperwork I found out at a later point. Update. Yay, 2 more years have past and I get a letter in the mail saying my credit card has been finally closed because I don't have a checking account with them. I closed that bank account and asked them to close all my accounts with them over 4 years ago. I won't put my money or business within ten miles of this inept place. 2 years earlier post.... Truist has repeatedly failed to process documents I provided to correct a tax error that lead to an $800 increase in my monthly bill. Despite my best efforts to stay on them and encourage them to succeed every step of the way, they have continuously improperly handled my request and failed to adjust my escrow payment based on my corrected county tax documents. I am now considering selling some investments to pay off the mortgage in full, for the sole reason of no longer having any trust in Truist.
