Promotional offer was a complete fraud. Promise of $400 if two deposits totalling $1000 over three months. Made two deposits totalling $1400. Was told that because I deposited the money electronically that it would not count. Ridiculous. Driving the 30 minutes to a branch tomorrow and closing account. No way to make and keep customers.
Truist Bank on Washington Rd has horrible customer service as we found out today!A clerk named Corrie waited on us.Totally unsatisfactory from beginning to end!Just read all of the reviews for this bank as they are horrible and I believe all of them.Terrible customer service period!And they don’t give a damn about their customers!
My (80yo) mother has been a long time client. She purchased a CD last year. When the CD matured, they automatically rolled her into a new one. That’s in the agreement, so no issues there. BUT, the new CD was paying 0.0%!! This was in 2024 when CDs were paying over 4%. They made her pay a fee to get out of it lol.
This branch is so poorly run. The Manager will not return phone calls. Every time I go into the bank she is never there. The staff are very reluctant to assist with any issue. They don't pick up the phone. UPDATE: 02/14/25 Truist, keeps taking away perks such as free checking, free checks, free safe deposit box etc....I have had this account for about 40 years. Truist is greedy and is not concerned nor do they care about the individual customer. Save yourself the grief and bank elsewhere.
