A check was deposited into my account on August 7th but was returned on August 8th. My account is still on hold for an investigation. I'm confused as to why my account is still being investigated if the check was returned. It's been a week, and the customer service representatives keep repeating the same story. Have you ever had a charge on your account that shouldn't be there? You call the place of that charge, they agree its a mistake and will issue a refund but said refund will take 14 business days. So you call your bank to tell them theres a mistake, and you need to dispute it to get the money back in your account now. Well, Truist does NOT do provisional credits on merchant disputes. Worst bank ever . They will take your money if you open account online especially a business account . Had to get an attorney to get my money back ! They are clowns for sure
