Good folks They had a pop-out book of maps for the entire Bruce Trail. The individual maps can be taken from the binder and are small enough to fit in a back pack pocket.

You could walk into this store with nothing and walk out fully equipped to go camping. ( They even sell food). I still use a tent I bought here 15 years ago. I heard that Allisa gave up her career as a super model to sell high quality camping gear. That's impressive! Geat team. I always feel welcome... Well it helps that I bring Tim's :).

We bought Kayaks a few years ago, spent what I deemed as a lot of money. We have been back a few times to find a lesser than pleasant experience. I am planning a big trip and went to the outfitters to upgrade kayak and paddle. The staff of about 5 were in the office, making tons of money I guess. We looked around at the kayaks, still in the office, we looked around at paddles, still in the office. Now we were just upset and wanted to get out of there. Great store, great staff. The store feels like you are in cottage country. They sell top end gear (which is rare in this area). If you're up from the city and want pool noodles and throw away gear go to Walmart. Just a note: they have a ramp by the shoes. I keep thinking it's an exit door, it's not. I keep hitting my head.(12 times). The staff are very kind to get me first aid. They also recommended a few kayaking helmets. I wear the blue on on Fridays. Do miss the burgers and fries.
