Great variety of gear, knowledgeable staff
Good folks They had a pop-out book of maps for the entire Bruce Trail. The individual maps can be taken from the binder and are small enough to fit in a back pack pocket.
You could walk into this store with nothing and walk out fully equipped to go camping. ( They even sell food). I still use a tent I bought here 15 years ago. I heard that Allisa gave up her career as a super model to sell high quality camping gear. That's impressive! Geat team. I always feel welcome... Well it helps that I bring Tim's :).

We bought Kayaks a few years ago, spent what I deemed as a lot of money. We have been back a few times to find a lesser than pleasant experience. I am planning a big trip and went to the outfitters to upgrade kayak and paddle. The staff of about 5 were in the office, making tons of money I guess. We looked around at the kayaks, still in the office, we looked around at paddles, still in the office. Now we were just upset and wanted to get out of there.
